This is devansh here.
I have been living in dubai fr 5 n hlf yr nw.
I have been asked to move to qatar fr my job.
there few thngs i wud like to ask..
1) If UAE driving license can be used in QATAR.
2) how can i rent a place there, jst 1 clean
room, sharing is ok, If any1 can give me sm cnct no. fr
sm agent who can help me find out a place to live. :)I
wud really appreciate that.
3) how is the place fr a bachelor like me, are
there many places to party or clubbing, is it easy
to make frnds thr.

Devansh (the one who got the characters of devas - I guess).
Dont expect to find night clubs or sheesha corners like Dubai in Qatar. You should have got some idea from the answer of Biju. You will enjoy all those things in Dubai and spending a lot of money but here you will save that money but still there are lots of activities here. It will be better to come and find out.

coming from heaven to hell ha ha Dubai is the best place to enjoy,here nothing.. but compare to Dubai you can save a bit if you have good salary. Welcome to open jail.

How much tough it is to get a license there and does that take time.
I was thinking of getting my car shipped to qatar.
but widout DL i wont b able to do the registration i belive.
You can convert your UAE DL to a Qatari DL (You may go to the Traffic Department once you reach Doha and get it done)
There are lots of sharing accommodation facilities which you can even search from this site (Classifieds - Housing).
You will be able to get a lot of friends here even from your own country and locality.
1) u have to get qatari license
2) u can find the availability in classified section depends on when u r moving
