1, Are you the maid who will receive the QR1200, or the employer who will pay QR1200?
2, Is the QR1200 for one weeks work (18 hours), or per month (72 hours)?
3, Yes, be careful who you let into your house if you are an employer.
4, Unfortunately, (sorry if I ruffle feathers here) sometimes it seems that it depends where the employee comes from that determines his or her wage.
jkcoza is right. Be very carefull with the people you let inside your house. I had a very bad experience with these so called partimers. Take only those who is working in a legitimate company or husband sponsored who does a part time job. Absconders who is protected by boyfriends are every where. Part timers are usually asking for 20 QR to 30 per hour, depends on the kind of work and negotiation.
If I understand correctly that is 18 hours for QR 1200? That seems expensive at over QR 65 an hour. You should be able to get it for nearer the QR 30 an hour mark.
No worries..friend of mine had nasty experience, it could end up costing you an arm and a leg..like everything else in Qatar :-)

Ive noticed your new...take care for part time maid in Qatar..same principle apply here as in Dubai...its illegal to get without proper sponsorships...the money is reasonable, as you would probably have to pay QR25 per hour, at least thats what they start charging as a minimum. Wouldnt recommend it though, a lot of absconders here, making problems for people when they get caught..just my opinion.
