Two Yrs Old Genius Looking for School

Hi,
I have a two years old baby daughter, I have difficulty to find a school that is suitable for her age and her capabilities. She knows already all ABC's(small and capital), colors, shapes, numbers, body parts, animals, vegetables, fruits, etc... With such a brilliant mind, we need to find her the next step as we can't provide the perfect environment at home (our first language at home is not English)...

chess should be encouraged specially for the

young generation for it teaches one how to think analitically;

it trains the mind in the right decision making;

as Lenin stated "Chess is the gymnasium of the mind"

It teaches planning, confidence, patience and discipline.

There is nothing special about English language. First preference should be for the mother tongue. Mother tongue is mother's milk, and other languages are bottled milks. Not having a firm grounding in mother tongue may impede a child reaching its full potential.

ps. to Skinnek,

Thanks for your reply.

I assume your first language (if not the only language) is English. Then the baby can learn these stuff maybe at his/her 1st year. But for my baby, with an environment where English is hardly used, learning these stuff before completing 2 years, I find it something exceptional.

Thanks all.

I really understand your comments, my baby is really learning fast, She picks up things with out us teaching her, she knew these stuff since she was 18 months, but now she tends more to learn our native language. . I need to keep her learning English, but me and her mom don't have the necessary cultural background in English, we can't raise the child using English, I mean we don't know enough baby words or enough English rhymes, for example...

This is my first child and this is why I am looking for advices.

Anyways, I might just leave it as it is, and accept that my baby can excel as a bilingual..

My daughter knew all of those things at 14 months. She is now 5. I just kept her at home. Children blossom in their own time. Pushing school on her at that age is not healthy. She is happy and well adjusted. Don't push your child. You will probably regret it later. Wait till the child is 4. Then let him/her go to school. For now just play with her. She is what she really needs. If she really is a genius then she will learn things all on her own. For now, what she needs is to be a toddler, playing, learning, exploring.

Don't push her to deliver more at that tender age. Let her enjoy her time as a toddler. Genius or not, School at 2 years is too early.

dont put her in school at so early and tender age, let her blossom with homely atmosphere for atleast another year after that studying will be there for life long, this is only my suggestion take it or leave it.
