Moving to Qatar - Few Questions

Hello all,

We are an Indian Expat family of 2 + 2 kids (aged 13 and 8). We are thinking about moving to Qatar (Doha) and had the following questions. We would appreciate if you can kindly advice your personal experiences/responses:

- Average Rentals per month for 3 BHK House (in Residential Locality)?
- When do the admissions of the Indian School start and whether it would be easy for us to admit our children there? Daughter would be going in 8th standard in April
- How much are the fees (including School Transport)
- What would be the average monthly cost of living per month for our family size?
- Are there any Indian Clubs present in Doha?

Would appreciate any/all advice whatsoever anyone can share.

Thanks
Parth

I would start by contacting your embassy to ask if they can give you any advice. The cost of schooling is high and it can be difficult to get into the schools. Each school has different fee structures and has their own transport services and different prices. So most expats have to wait till they get here to enrol their children, they may have to be on a waiting list.

Try register or go to the following websites for information:

http://qatarmarhaba.com/ and http://www.dohamums.com/ and then just keep googling information on the internet. For prices of properties to rent, look at the adverts on the internet or call or contact http://www.apollopropertiesonline.com/

Good luck!
