QR 3500 is ok for Rental allowance?

I am offered with a job with QR 3500 whether I can get a house in this amount max further QR 500 I can able to pay.
My family is me , wife and a kid.
Pl inform whether housing rates are fallen down and it is cheaper now.
Can any one help me answering this query.
Of course, you can find a small accommodation in decent area for 3500. nowadays its come down here in doha
no , 3500 nothing my dear, rent is only3500 + foood ..... totaley if salary is 8000 is okey for normal life.
Yes, you will get a pretty decent single room hall kitchen accomadation.
My room in a shared villa costs me QR 3500. It's a lovely room, nice and big with my own bathroom. I have added my own fridge etc. to make it nice an cosy. I live alone in mine, but in the room next to me there is an American chap living with his wife and young daughter without any problems at all. Our villa is well placed, quiet and clean.
So to answer your question, yes QR 3500 is sufficient. And although your family may have share a room. For that money it should be a really nice room.
With the current rates, you might be able to find 1 BHK 4k or below.
