Thanks for all

On my one day visit to Doha I have seen that villa, it was 20 Min drive from my office and its closed compound. Secondly as far as Furniture concern I have taken the option of Qr 45,000/- instead of furniture.

Regards

Wicky, you have given very less information about your gross salary, your marital status etc.

.

Anyhow, 2nd option is excellent but do ask them about the location of that COMPOUND VILLA. If it is near to your office then OK otherwise it will be a very big headache for you if the villa is in NO MANSLAND where there is no nearest supermarket, restaurants etc

.

POST such information here so the readers can guide you in a better way

it depends on how sensitive you are. If you are a bachelor or if you have your family here. If you are a bachelor, take the allowance and get a room which you can find for 3thou Riyal, then you saved 5thou+ riyals monthly or around 60thou+ Riyals a year...not a bad savings

my first question was WHERE is the villa?... Nowadays there a lot of new areas are developing outside of Doha, and they are quite cheap.. but, if you need to travel to work 1 hour every day, it will be disaster. Then I would prefer to get money and find some 2-br flat for this amount in a nice area of Doha.

So again, it all depends..

Ask where the villa is and what is meant by villa?

I have seen what many refer to as villas in New Rayyan and Muaither areas and they are stand alone houses (some are together within a compound) that are worthless!

With 8500 QR nowadays, you can get a decent 3 bedroom flat (fully furnished) near Markhia, Mansoura, Muntazah and Mamoura areas, which are not bad at all!

If i were you, i will take the villa. Spare yourself from the trouble of finding villas. Totally a headache.

I would go for the second option but would like to see where it is and what it is like before committing. Also ask about the furnishing level of the villa - are you just getting the building or is it semi or fully furnished.
