From experience try to get a letter of recommendation from your current UK school if you can. It really helps to get the children accepted in the new school. I got mine accepted back in May and I am still in UK. Most schools in Doha will reopen in mid-August. Good luck.

yes, I think Newton branch in Mamoura has places.

Does any one, know the uniform for the Newton school, and when it will open?

We are arriving in Doha soon. I can confirm that DESS and Park House are full, I believe the Montessori school MAY have vacancies.

DESS have now closed their waiting list.

Our daughter has applied to Cedars Tutoring who take children who are on wait lists.

most brits kids goes to DESS (Doha English Speaking School) ... alternatively you can go to Doha College Primary or Park House.

The trick is ... just grab any space you can find when you arriving in Doha ... once you are here in the meantime you can put the application on waiting list in your favourite school.

Good luck.
