Spirit of Ramadan photo shoot - first winner

The first winner of 2 tickets for a Suhoor meal at the InterCon's Ramadan tent has been chosen;

Iftar Canon by Joe!! Iftar is when fasting is broken during the holy month of Ramadan. Followers of Islam, fast from Sunrise to Sunset during this month. In Qatar, a canon is fired to mark the end of the day's fast. People here, gather to near it to watch the canon being fired and then rush home where a delicious meal awaits them. I tried to capture the canon being fired but the ground shook and also it was SO quick that all I captured was smoke!! :)
