'Geo Jose'
A 28-YEAR-OLD Indian has been missing since late Monday evening, according to his colleagues.
Geo Jose had left his office after work but did not reach home, they said. He is a store supervisor at a servicing centre of a major home appliances company on Street 36 of the Industrial Area.
Jose’s accommodation is close to his workplace. “He appeared a little tired when he left the office around 11pm,” said a security guard at the company.
Jose had worked in Oman earlier, according to his employers. A native of Muthalakodam in Kerala’s Idukki district, he came to Qatar about 18 months ago, a colleague said.
Reports said Jose was seen moving through Street 33 on Tuesday, carrying a file. A driver of the company corroborated this.
“Until this morning he could not be contacted on his mobile. However, it was found that his mobile was working in the afternoon,” the colleague said. The company has alerted Qtel.
The colleague also said a photograph of Jose had been given to all the company’s drivers and also to shops.
The employers have also looked for him at many places, including Hamad Hospital.
