you just remained me of my self when i was your age Ok so i tell and you choose what you want to do :

1-buy small motorcycle or car and hang out in the neighborhood.

2-buy a drums or guitar or bass guitar and try to make a band .

3-buy skateboard or Rollerblade and hang out in the Cornish skate park or the skate zone in the city center (extreme).

4-try to make friends of your age (locals).

5-try to get hobby like repairing old radios or fix a car.

6- join the Qatar scientific club (you will like it).

i guess that is all what i did when i was your age.

peace

If u r Muslim, the best thing is to MEMORISE the HOLY QURAN, and keep doing ur prayers in MOSQUE especially FAJR prayer.

U'll feel the result of that in ur future life,

Generally,,, be very close to ALLAH, and ALLAH will be very close to u.

If u r NOT MUSLIM, be very close to GOD, and GOD will be very close to u,,,,

goooooooooooooooood luck and joy.......

Hi Recycledgoat, if you're staying for the summer then here's a few ideas off the top of my head:-

1. Try www.livemocha.com - learn a new language online

2. Volunteer (some volunteer opportunities are detailed on the Qatarliving site)

3. Seek out peers who are also in Doha this summer

4. Join a gym/pool for summer membership and get super fit

5. Catch up on reading, writing, projects that have been postponed, etc.

6. Find an internship to gain experience in a field of interest, e.g. vet surgery, TV station, restaurant kitchen, etc.

Good Luck!

The best thing to do is not to come here, too hot to go out door anyway. And the humidity at some points unbearable.

Your life will revolve around outdoor thing from house to the car, car to the shops / malls.

Have you ever been to Qatar before? Especially have you ever been to Qatar in the summer before?
