How long have you been out there, and are you packing it in?
If I came I would have a hefty living allowance that would more than cover the living arrangements, and any social activity + a damn good salary too.
Too much heat there for a spell, too much cold and wind here, nothing to do here, nothing to do there, so I'm thinking better to be bored and loaded than bored and skint.
