vista requires a minimum of 1 gig of ram to run properly... THAT DOESNT INCLUDE ANY OTHER PROGRAM YOU RUN...

what i mean by that is once you start a game or start another software that didnt come with windows... you are now taking away from that 1 gig it needs... plus i bet your laptop only has 512 of ram...

now that doesnt mean if you add 2 gigs of ram its going to be blazing fast...

i just bought this laptop 3 weeks ago... and bought to gigs of ram to go with it... cause i knew the laptop had vista...

but before i installed the new ram... i tested it with the stock 1 gig... to get an idea how much better it is with more ram

well once i started the computer up it asked to go to basic mode...

(vista has different modes which allow for better viewing)

then when it was done loading ... i noticed my ram count was pegged out... meaning i was all out of ram because vista was running it into the ground...

so i shut the comp down ... installed the new ram

viola... it runs decent...

oh and as for all those warnings you can shut them off threw the control panel...

it still has problems running alot of programs i use... but thats fine cause in a few more months service pack to will be out...

but running xp instead of vista... is not a bad idea at all... hell i tell everyone not to get vista

ahhahahahahahaha
