One to two years ago. I employed a live-out maid/housekeeper. Eight hours a day (regular schedule, no evenings), 5 days a week, and I paid QR1800.
So QR2000 sounds pretty reasonable to me, given transportation costs (unless you're willing to handle this yourself -- I provided transport with the lady who worked for me).
