Termination means two way decisions, termination by the company and resignation on the part of the employee. Once an employee is terminated, he/she must be repatriated by the company's expense. If resignation is made, all the expenses must be borne by the employee to go back to his/her country. You need to negotiate directly to your employer to be cleared.
But if you found a new employer and willing to sponsor you, you need to accomplish NOC and release paper from your Current sponsor against acceptance letter from your new sponsor. -these are the basic requirements in changing sponsorship. Usually, an employee needs to exit from Qatar while processing the transfer of sponsorship..
This case exactly happened to me...the difference is that my iqama wasn't stamp in my passport and I didn't hold a Q.I.D. for a year, 'till i found my current Employer up to now...
