These Immigration guys are JERKS. My cousin has his RP renewed just a week back,with 5 months remaining to its expiry. His RP was supposed to get expired on 3rd December but as he was travelling to his home country and planning to stay there for six months, he got it renewed before leaving.

Anyways, renewel of RP can be done in one day....infact within three hours depending on the JERK sitting on the counter.
