There IS only love - it just depends where on the 'shelf' you choose to put it, and if you do 'put it away' then you are not participating in life. To hold love in your heart (participate regardless) there will be times when you will feel hurt/heart broken/sad.. etc. But this is the only way we are going to grow as a person.
There are 2 ways that people deal with heart break:
a. They squash the hurt feelings deep down in side as they feel they cannot cope with that sadness >> bitterness >> "never going there again". That's fine - we all have our choices, but the consequence of this is resentment towards the opposite sex as a whole, and stagnation. You might as well take yourself off the planet now, as you are a drain on the other people around you, and society.
b. They allow the emotions to wash over them, cry, get angry, grieve for a time, then get straight back into the game called life >> growth. Realise your true worth. The other person who left you did so due their own cr&p, not yours - it's not about you!! Love yourself again..
There will be times when we ALL go thru heart break, of different varieties, but this is life. Turn the negative situations/thoughts into positive ones. Say to yourself "How can I let this situation make me a better/stronger person?" - give it a bash - it works....
Go out there and love again - it's worth it. Life is an adventure, a journey. And you get to choose the scenery along the way.
Happy living.......... :)
