Drive along once you reach the service tech and he will take over.
He will cross check the no., check the smoke, opens hood and trunk, check lights, all bulbs working or not, all doors opening or not, fire extinguisher,brake test and then any leaks or damages underneath the car.
After u receive the car, park go back to the office, get the report, if you pass the technical show it to the police he will stamp and sign (if no major fault in legal). After get insurance and go to any muroor( traffic department) and get new istimara.
