Katie, there are a lot of good things about Qatar. There are some bad ones but, hey, which country doesn't?!

Bottom line is, if the money is good, if the career opportunity is good, what the heck, why not? It's not like the UK will run away anyway, after a few years you can go back and pick up from where you left, but with some money in your pocket and a lot of experiences to tell others :)
