search on www.asiarooms.com for hotels. Flights are more difficult as there are limited flights Doha to Athens. In fact I think only QA and Olympic fly that route. Check their websites.

September is a good time to go because the tourist season is over and the place is not crowded. Also, the weather is still nice.
