Why is it so hard to just have people ask their question without berating them for where they place it?

To answer your question, I had the same problem and I couldn't find them in Qatar. I emailled some of the manufacturers but got no results. They just don't sell them here.
I opted to have someone bring one over from the UK. Amazon also sells them and ships them internationally. Low purchase price but high shipping cost.
I also visited Toys 'r us last week and noticed that a similar item was in their brochure. A car with a roof and a steering handle for the parents. The guy there told me they should be receiving it in the week of eid or just after.
