but transport system is the best -- you will hardly feel the need for a car :P sights and tourist spots are incomparable; shopping is amazing -- all the big brands are there -- a bit expensive though; food selection is wide and soo yummy :)
As far as I remember, income tax for expats is around 15% per month. But at the end of the year, all the tax you paid will be given back to you, and you just pay the government 15% of that amount. That why we looove tax filing season in Singapore, like the months of May to June, because you get back all the tax you paid so it feels like Xmas bonus that time of the year. And you remit only 15% of that to the government :D
