Qatar has been poising itself to become the new mediator in the Arab world, and it remains the only GCC country (and one of only a few Arab/Muslim nations) to maintain any kind of diplomatic ties with Israel. Thus, their role is unique, and they shouldn't just have a knee-jerk reaction and kick the Israelis out over this current situation. They need to help engage both parties in dialogue and contribute to finding a solution to this conflict.
Eve -- you sound like you pretty much loathe all Jews. I'd caution you to try and avoid sterotyping people based on religion when this is a national conflict, not a religious one.
And as far as a "controlled media" goes, I doubt that Israel is the worst offender. I dare say they probably have a much freer media than most of the Arab world does...
