I was supposed to go to a hotel function TONIGHT but was told it was postponed until TOMORROW night, and the reason they gave was because it was Prophet Mohammed's birthday so no alcohol would be allowed to be served TODAY.

Wish they could just make a decision/ruling (celebrate the day or not) and let people know about it in advance. Just another annoyance here -- everything is always last minute, like they can't look at a calendar and plan ahead....sigh...
