That doesn't excuse rockets (albeit poorly made ones) being shot across Israel's southern border, or somebody strapping a bomb onto themselves and then going into a crowded market or cafe, killing dozens (though I am sure you would say all Israelis are guilty because they have national service there).

Seriously. Do you think that intentionally targetting and killing innocent people who are NOT military combatants is okay?

And re: the figures of destruction -- am I supposed to have more sympathy for the Palestinians because Israel has a stronger military and is more effective at retaliating? That's not a logical argument. Both sides provoke one another, and just because one has more might than the other, I am not necessarily going to support the underdog.
