My post above was not meant to be negative or to divert you from your objectives.
It was just something you are ought to know when you start dealing with this region. With all respect, one of the reasons you are not receiving feedback from your applications is due to the lack of professionalism common here. Commitments are not often kept; feedback is not often given, etc, etc, etc... Even the banking industry (within the same bank) has huge gaps of level services when compared to more mature markets. The Middle East and particularly Qatar, are very young (immature) markets and often with people at the top appointed by family name (only).
No matter how honest and open some may be about it, we can only have a grasp of the reality once we are here.
Be prepared and do not expect businesses are run the way they are where you are at the moment, including HR departments of major companies!
