They have the right to do what they want. Jimcale spammed this site with links to his numerous sites. I saw plenty of them myself, and even got PMs inviting me there.
Hence no-ones going to have any sympathy with him because his links are now being changed. I personally find it funny.
Perhaps you should report it to the 'internet ethics' committee.
As for Google and Microsoft, they're well established companies which don't need to spam each other to get more customers.
Interestingly though, Microsoft's search engine BING has been seen to return pro-Microsoft/anit-Apple search results, so it seems they're not adverse to ignoring 'internet ethics' either.
So to summarise, get over it. Perhaps if you created a decent site you wouldn't need to spam QLers to get your customers.
