I might be more likely to agree with you if Qatar had different sponsorship/immigration rules and laws. But they don't. The current system is one that is basically akin to indentured servitude. These women (and men) have no advocates to ensure they are treated fairly and humanely. It's because of this that so many people here take advantage of them in a variety of different ways -- controlling their behavior off the clock, making them work 24/7 (something several of the posters here seem to think is okay to do).
So no, I won't agree that you get complete authority to set the rules in your house. There has to be a basic level of treatment and rights that everyone can expect and rely upon.
