On Friday I will be having my 4th lesson with Regatta Sailing Academy. I always wanted to try sailing out, and I am starting to really enjoy it. It's QR 900 for an 8 week course. The lessons are 2 hours each, and to be honest at the end of the 2 hours I am happy to come back ashore because I am not that fit at the moment.
I believe you can join the Academy for just QR 3,500 a year, and take a boat out when you like. So once I have "learned the ropes" I am planning on doing that, and I will see you out there on the islands.
Regatta are based at the Intercontinental Hotel, and the beach there is gorgeous.
