It's not that I don't think women can't also be players -- we surely can. But by and large, we're not very adept at separating emotions from sex. Men are pros at that. Therein lies another basic difference between the sexes. Men can have sex with another woman and still feel completely in love with their GF/wife (the other chick was just for sex, nothing more).
When women have sex outside their primary relationship, it usually indicates that the primary relationship wasn't working really well AND we usually develop an emotional attachment to the new guy (we're not randomly hooking up with different men).
