Sh*t is a bad word, and that is why I said the word crap instead.
Besides, "not up to standard" wouldn't fit in my title because it was too long.
And I did not go and buy those USA and British newspapers because they usually are 1-2 days late. This whole post was about the LOCAL newspapers here not being up to snuff, Straight Arrow. As I said, I find what information I need just fine, thanks. My complaint was that the local papers here aren't doing their jobs because they failed to provide adequate coverage of an international event in which over 200,000 people are now feared dead.
Telling me I can find out information in another way doesn't address the underling issue of the local papers not doing their job properly.
