I hate repeating myself...the public sector (government sector in general) were paid considerably less then the private sector. There was a big gap which widened in last few years and as a result the public sector was losing employees to the private sector.


This measure will help to offset that momentum.


The discussion has digressed into may different tangents; which cannot be addressed in this threat alone.


In principle; there is a mutually beneficial relationship between the "locals' and the 'expatriates' based upon "offer' and 'acceptance'.


Things can always be better form our own perspectives but do take a second to think about those with nothing; those who will not drink any water today and go thirsty; will not get any food and go hungry or have no shelter tonight and sleep rough and then ask yourself if you are being paid enough.
