Im the first one to not bash because some of the members here immediately start talking crap about Qatar and the members on QL for any comment.
But honestly, do you really want to compare Qatar to Dubai? First of all, the demographics are VERY different (with a much higher western ratio - i.e. spending more money... than Qatar)... secondly, Villagio is actually quite nice. Mall of Emirates only has 2 things going for it... more shops and a ski slope.... the rest... its the same zombies.
What I do see more of here is family life and people shopping and coffee and whatever. Look outside your narrowed view and see Qatar for what it is. Otherwise, go home. All of us have that option.
Qatar is actually pretty cool. Find a reason to enjoy it so you dont feel like you are wasting your life away. Otherwise, sorry for you and your attitude.
