I meant that items like the stove, fridge, washing machine, AC are usually supplied in a semi furnished apartment and my estimate of 15-25K was for a TV, lounge setting, main bed + 2 single beds, some lamps, TV table, dining table and chairs...I should add you would also need to buy pots and pans, cutlery, crockery and these were not included in my estimate.
This is for all new items, but you can also find people who are leaving and are selling their full house worth of furniture.
My personal view is it is easier to get a fully furnished apartment, but if you are going to be here long term (more than 2 yrs), then it is more economic to get a semi furnished apartment and buy your own furniture ( you can also sell it when you leave.
