The work life balance is what you make of it really. You will be expected to everything that a teacher would in the UK, in fact I often feel that I do more here than in the UK, with ECA's and meetings.
Teachers are allowed to use all of the clubs and facilities on the Community as well as the Beach Club which is a 20 min drive a way.
The school is being re structured due to GEMS no longer having the contract to manage the school.
The influx of new staff is about the same number of staff that have been recruited to the school in the last few years due to the expansion of the school. So we are used to large numbers of new teachers arriving at the school. No there are hard no feelings towards the new members of staff that have been appointed. You will find that the teachers here are very professional.
