Maybe people in London would laugh and point if you fell or dropped your shopping,but in Devon people would also help you up or whatever..
I smile at people back home and would generally get a smile back,I haven't experienced that here been here 8 months..You smile at a man here,he gets the wrong impression..
I also think clothes shopping here is way more expensive,food yeah some items are cheaper,but the quality is pants and not much choice either..Although that depends on what you eat..
I would love to see how you feel in a month or two,

I'm not bashing Doha,as i love it here also..Its a great place to live..But home is where the heart is! :)
