But yet again Indian subcontinent is a region or rather a big region just falling short of the category to be called as a continent. Just like Middle East, Asia Minor, Australasia.
In the recorded history, India never invaded any country - It did go to open war with Pakistan once outside the border but that was to stop Pakistan from invading Bangladesh which was formerly called as East Pakistan and this again is debatable since the present Bangladesh was a former member union of Pakistan which again is not politically correct since the PML party was defeated by the communist party and the people chose an independent country.
But the question here is Geography and not History init ??
