Airport Visa Office is a breeze

Contrary to what I read in some QLer's posts about the service at the Airport Visa Office, everything was smooth.

I went this morning to apply for my wife's visa, I find the officers are accomodating and helpful. It's really a breeze, it would take me longer time to clear LULU's counter on Thursday nights.

Special thanks to counter 4. Thank you sir.

Thanks to Novita77, Lamea and Yaseen13 for confirming my experience.

It's not that I'm lucky then, it is just part of the process of change. In this case Qatar is in the right direction as far as service is concern.

Just remember one thing, they only issue 1 MONTH NON EXTENDABLE VISIT VISA. So if you are planning for more than 1 month, then u have to go MESAIMEER SVC STATION or PASSPORT MAIN OFFICE IN GHARAFA.

.

Airport VISIT VISA is not extendible

In Doha always think 'COME WHAT MAY' every single day it change, rules are change, policy are adjusted, people are in different mood, traffic sometimes good sometimes disaster....

I do recommend as well POST OFFICE 'Corniche' if you need to process any Visa Related, they are very cool.

i deal with them 3 times in the period of 8 yrs when my mom visited us. Its getting better.

The first one was a nightmare, it was when they were in their old place where the new business lounge terminal now (on the right just before you reach the departure terminal). None of them speaks any English, I have to leave and get my palestinian girlfriend to be my translator. :o)

The new one is defenitely very efficient compare what it used to be. I just text my mom the visa number and she can print it out herself from our home country before she fly here.

most of people had the same experience as you, my friend. Unfortunately seems that most of us {specially at the immigration and traffic police depts), as I recently stated here, just have headaches... Marhaba Doha!
