Application for Family Visit Visa Denied

Hello QL’ers,

I just want to share my experience today.

Early 6:30 in the morning, I went to Immigration Office to apply visa for my wife and child. I am very confident to get the approval coz I have completed all the requirements such as: 1. NOC from Company 2. Labor Contract 3. Tenancy Contract 4. Attested Supporting Docs 5. Bank Statements 6. Application Form, when the Immigration Officer review my papers, she accepted it. But unfortunately when she check in the system, it appears that there are still existing Visa for my Wife and Child, which was been they used before (2010).

Shuhada! My application was denied due to that. When I asked what to do? They told me that I need to cancel first the previous visa before I can apply for new visa.

I thought, the old visa were cancelled bcoz my wife and child leave the country for more than a year. ~ Did anybody experience this? What procedure you did?

Please help....

Hi everyone, a real case of emergency.

I joined a company in Qatar 7 months back. I really wish to quit my job as I am getting better job offers in other firms. My contract is for 2 yrs. So it is evident that they will not give me NOC and i will be banned for 2 yrs. My husband is working here in Qatar. But his salary is too low to apply for a family resident visa. I wish to know if I resign my job and once the company cancels my RP, can I come back to Qatar in family visit visa and extend it for another 5 months. So we hope by the time, we can make any arrangements for family resident visa.

Please your reply is really valuable.

Hello kabayan!

If I may just ask since your experience was just very recent, how many months was the tenancy contract required? Is it for 6 months also, same as the bank statements? Thank you very much.

Mabuhay!

You suppose to apply Visit visa for your family, (not Family Visa).

once your family arrive in qatar, than you cancel the RP and apply new one.(medical exam require to do RP renewal)

You have made me work really hard to understand what you mean.

I think, if that is the case then you just need to use the visa which is reflected to be still valid in records for your family.
