Bring wife ASAP | Urgent... pls help !!!
I'm an Indian. My sister got married recently.
Her husband works in Qatar. He's currently on vacation in India.
He doesn't have his RP processed yet.
His company said it will process RP once he's back to Qatar.
We would like to send our sister along with her husband.
Can you please let us know the quickest possible solution, so that he doesn't leave our sister back here and go to Qatar?

We were thinking of these options:
- Family visit visa - is this possible to get this done without his RP, from India here ASAP? I believe he has a decent salary (>7000 QR).
I have read in the answers these are required: a sponsor letter from his company telling his salary and his bank statement.
Is there any thing more required, and what are the procedures for applying?
- Business visa - can she get one. If so how?
- Tourist visa (more expensive though) - can you please tell the cheapest hotel available there to book?

Any other options?

Please treat this as urgent. Any help would be appreciated.

Can I ask one thing? Are u staying in Qatar with Family? Then for the time being the easiest way is, bring your sister on visit visa under your sponsorship along with yr br in law then upon arrival finish his RP formalities then apply for his family visa then change to his sponsorship.

I agree with Shinoj, things are not very easy as you think. Here govt formalities work slowly, and everything takes time. Let your bro-in-law do things in his on way.

don't nag him to take ur sister quickly, bcoz I have seen many people get irritated by similar questions from their inlaws. Advise ur sister also not to nag him regarding this..

I too am Indian, and I would not like my bro-in-law trying to poke his nose in my life, but at the same time I can understand a brothers wish that his sister be hapy with her husband. Dont ware, he will take her in another 3 months.

To my limited knowledge:

I dont understand how your sister's husband can have a vacation in India, without his RP stamped and while working here. All visa, other than RP is for single entry and exit.

It would take some time before your sis's husband can have his RP stamped, give all the required documents and bring your sis here. It would be better if he joins here, gets a visit visa for his wife and then later convert it to an RP, after all formalities met.

Alternatively, if you have any relatives here; ask them for a visit visa for your sis, so that she can accompany her husband.

RP Processing takes time, he can get 1 month Toursit Visa for QR 100 (can be extended up to 3 months )which he can get from Doha-airport, in parallel he can process RP.

SPONCER LETTER, MINIMUM BASIC SALARY OF 7000 RIAL,SIX MONTHS BANK STATEMENT, PASSORT COPY ENDORSED SPOUSE'S NAME, AND RP COPY.

THERE ARE SEVERAL HOTELS WHICH STARTS FROM 200 RIAL PERDAY. BUT BROTHER, THESE FORMALITIES ARE NOT SO EASY TO COVER. GIVE SOME TIME TO YOUR SISTER'S HUSBAND.

ONE BEDROOM ACCOMODATION MINIMUM COST 4000 RIAL IN A MONTH . PLUS THE COST OF LIVING HERE IS HIGH. SO THINK IN A POSITIVE WAY. DONT PUT YOUR SIS'S HUSBAND AND SIS IN TROUBLE. BE PATIENT.
