Can I still come back to work in Qatar after 6 months even without NOC?

By ehlyl

I am a Filipino national.

I worked in Qatar for one year and has residence/work permit visa good for one year.

I resigned/left my employer and my visa was cancelled when I left Qatar.

I received again plenty of employment offers from some companies in Qatar, however, I presumed I cannot go back without NOC and my previous employer will not give.

Questions:

Are there any possible ways/means/procedures for me to return to work in Qatar after 6 months or nor?  How long (how many months) it will take for me to wait so I can go back to work in Qatar?

If I have no immediate chance to work in Qatar, can I still work in other middle east countries like UAE or KSA?

Thanks for your immediate response and help or advice.

u should undergo medical, CID, then CID ang magpo-forward sa Immigration.

Question:

Ibig sabihin di ka pa nagreresign? U have existing visa as working visa? means hindi pa naka-cancel ung working visa mo? then nag-applay ka na ng husband sponsorship na approved ng labor?

before labor, Medical ka muna ulit(if 6 mos after ang last medical mo) then pagkatapos ng labor...CID ka muna Shella...then CID ang magfo-forward sa immigration...ganun ako noon nung nagpalit ako ng visa (from working to family)...dumaan ulit ako sa CID at duon ako nabinbin ng halos 2 months...

kung ikaw ang nag-resign / na-terminate (due to your negligence or kung anu pa man na di kasalanan ng company), your company or sponsor will cancel your visa at kung hindi naman nila i-cancel eh automatically ma-cancel yan after 6 months mula pag-exit mo.

ngayon, sa issue ng pagbabalik dito sa qatar. hindi ka makakabalik dito on a working visa sa loob ng 2 taon kung wala kang NOC. well, kung meron kang NOC, anytime makakabalik ka dito on a working visa.

there are 2 ways (ang alam ko) para makabalik ka dito legally, family visit visa (qatar govt will allow you to stay here for a max of 6 months) at family visa (this is what they call - husband sponsor).

New_WCM_Context=/wps/wcm/connect/cnt/EN/1_Home/14_Ministries_and_Authorities/MOI_EN/MOI_D01_EN/Family%20Visit%20Visa/ at http://www.gov.qa/wps/portal?

Ngayun nakabalik na ko dito sa qatar at under husband sponsor (residence visa) na ako take not cancelled ako at di rin ako binigyan ng NOC ng kumpanya ko... and i am working ulit this time government na... pwede un balik ka dito as husband's visa, take it from me makakapagwork ka ulit

my father which recently worked in getco resigned his work and went home in the philippines and facing the same problem as the topic starter has, hes previous company doesnt want to give him a noc which results him to just wait for the 2 year ban to finish cause i have relatives here in qatar which stayed already here from 8 yrs/10yrs/4yrs but they just all said nothing can be done and just wait for the ban to finished which is 2 years

I signed a job offer with a government department in February 2008. I was supposed to join in April 2008. But due to some strange reasons the visa is yet to arrive. Meanwhile I received atleast three significantly better offers from doha. The company has also promised speedy visa processing. Now should i get a NOC from my current sponsors.

MY WIFE WAS CANCELLED BY HER COMPANY AND WENT BACK TO PHILIPPINES AND I APPLIED HER FAMILY VISA AND WAS APPROVED. NO PROBLEM FOR FAMILY VISA AS IT IS NOT A WORKING VISA.

No Objection Certificate

Your employer can give this to you saying they do not object to you taking a job with another company.

mom-ni-prince,

i just talked with our PRO regarding this issue.

When you resigned and left doha, was your visa cancelled by your sponsor? if it was cancelled then you can come back here on husband's visa anytime.

If your visa was not cancelled when you left qatar, your visa will be automatically cancelled after being out of qatar for 6-months. then you can come back on husband's visa.

Better that your hubby ask also their company's PRO.

We have the same problem kabayan, i am also under banned today as i resigned from Qatar Steel. but can anyone surely explain to me that I can get back to Qatar under my husband's sponsorship?

I am in Oman at the moment, kasi nga di ako ni-release ng

Qatar Steel. So they tried to send me here, but I felt so lonely, ever lonely here....

Give me an idea if it is possible to be back thru husband's visa.

Thanks..

that's not seem to be true as in our company's case, we often bring in staff thru business visa (for quicker deployment) and upon arrival application for working visa is immediately undertaken.

Hello there, is it true that business visa is no longer transferable to working visa? How about Family visa?

Hope someone could help me regarding this, thanks.

You are banned for 2 years and no problem of working in any other GCC country during this period

I'm by no means an expert in work visas and Doha immigration procedures but everything I have read and heard says that you cannot come back to Doha for two years to work because you don't have the NOC.  I don't believe your standing in Doha effects any of the other GCC countries or KSA.

But the best thing to do is ask an expert.  Call or email your embassy in the country you are interested in, including Qatar, and ask for clarification on your situation.

Best of luck.
