Hi All,

I came to doha on a work visa (am hre for just 3 months). Now i got a better job and my present company is ready to give me NOC.

Is it possible to cancel current Visa and get a new Visa from New employer and work here.

Please note that there are no problems with current employer to provide NOC or whatever legally needed docs for new Visa

Hi Bassbogs. Firstly, i got a letter of offer from new Coy, present them to my old coy, my old Coy willingly prepare my transfer form (those standard sponsor transfer application form) and a NOC for no objection for transfer. Next day, on my first day in new Coy, handed over MOI forms, passport and old ID, to HR-PRO and they made the transfer on the same day and issue me with a new RP right before lunch hour. I'm not so sure about the fees though. Basically, all govt fees are bourne by new Coy.

wancancer...may i know where did you went(Govt. Office particularly) to process your visa for transfer of company sponsorship from old company to new company? and what were the necessary fees they collect there and also the supporting documents for sponsorship transfer aside from old company NOC?

matsp2008.... If you said that you have no problem with your current Sponsor. Then get them to mentioned in your NOC that you are officially released from the Coy, with an effective date and are allowed to be transferred to any other Coy of your choice. I got mine mentioned as such and I don't have to leave Qatar. Out from old Coy to new Coy in a day and sponsorship transferred in the same day.

Before u exit and let your previous company cancel your visa make sure that u hold your NOC from them and you will give that to the new company for them to process the new visa for you. Keep in touch with your new company for them to rush in the application of your new visa and you can come back to qatar asap. It depends on what type of NOC the old company can give U. Because there are cases that you don't need to Exit. In my case I exit that's y I'm sharing this. God Bless U.

You will have to exit the country and the new employer will have to reapply for your visa along with current employer valid NOC
