I AM WORKING HERE IN QATAR FOR 3 YRS. NOW AND I WANTED TO BRING MY 2-KIDS HERE. IS IT TRUE THAT ONLY THE FATHER/HUSBAND CAN SPONSOR THE KIDS? WHAT ABOUT MY CASE, I AM SEPARATED, IS THERE ANY CHANCE TO GET MY CHILDREN FROM PHILIPPINES?

APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE!

Merry x-mas to you too! I wish you can be united with your children very soon! It's always good to have the family to stay together. :)

The latest up date I was informed that there's a recent law that woman will get the same benefits as the man has, but the fact that this is another gray area. some companies follow the law and some are not especially for an Asian employee who are afraid of loosing their job and has no choice but accept the offer. I also heard some company gives at least half of the benefits. check with your company you maybe lucky. Eid Mubarak!

My husband's colleague is divorce and she is teaching at the University she managed to bring her daughter over and she is the sponsor of her daughter and is studying at DESS. the only thing I'm not sure is, if the University gives her all the same benefits as the man staff has. will try to inquire further more if you wish.
