Employment Question
A quick question - my brother-in-law has arrived in Qatar and entered on a tourist visa at the weekend and is working for an educational company here but has decided that he doesn;t want to continue due to bad management. He does not have a contract nor has he signed anything and now has been offered a post elsewhere.
He tendered his resignation but has been told that the company never issues NOCs so he cannot work for anyone else for another two years.
Please advise if this is accurate or if anyone knows of a good labour law adviser I would be very grateful.
He need not worry about the NOC, since his RP is not yet processed
If he's still on a tourist visa and his RP was never processed then he can change employers without an NOC.
