Please give me information about the work permit requirements

Can anybody please give me the details about the requirements for the Work Permit for those who are Locally hired.

I've translated all my Educational certificates and got Indian PCC also.Is the original certificate or the translated one to be attested?How long this process will take?
Would you please give the location of Qatar Chamber of commerce also..

-after translation of all the certificates(educational, experience)

-apply for the character certificate from ur home embassy.

-collect some papers from ur offce or job place(registration paper, and NOC from sponsor etc)

-from ur job place u ll get some letters for the medical department and for police report or may be for labour departement as well.

-then go to medical comission for the medical test with the letter from office, u ll give blood test, Xray, and clinical check up and then doctor will give u a clerance or fit for job report, with some stamps on it.

-then go to finger print departement and submit the papers ll get from office with ur arabic translated certificates and embassy letter, then they will give u the time period of 20 days for the report.

- after that submit these two reports to office and ask about more .

because i have also done that much process, after that i think v ll go to labour departement for work permit.
