Islimi or Arabesque is one of the three main designs in Islamic art together with Calligraphy and Geometry. Islimi consists in the biomorphic designs and plant elements found in Islamic art. Participants will be using gouache colors to paint Islimi motifs, using the old full color method used by the artists during the Islamic golden age.
