Dear Sir,
I am an Indian engineer and have been working in Qatar for last 15 years. The reason I am texting this question is, on 2004 I have sold my car to one of my relative who is in India now after retired. On that same day I gave my original ID to change the ownership, from my name to his name. Hence I have gone for emergency vacation I didn’t do any follow-up, aftermath.
Due to some technical problem he left the car after one month of use at AL-Bida area (all the structures have been demolished on that area) and was using another car which he brought. While clearing that particular area the car was taken by Baldiya to dump it on proper place. But the registration plate was still there. I didn’t know that car was still in my name. Recently, during my last vacation my friend revealed that he didn’t change the ownership and he was cheating me. To know more about it, I just checked that plate number on web site. I really astonished when I saw that my car is still used by some unknown person. It shows some penalty which happened on this year January. (I am attaching herewith that, see below).
I don’t know what is going on, sir. Its Istimara was finished by 2003 itself. I am looking for valuable advice to solve this big problem and I am in freighted mind... I am not fluent in Arabic. Therefore I am afraid to approach the Traffic Department.
Please advice me.

Dear you have to report to Traffic department otherwise you have to pay all the fines...No matter if you don't know the arabic or just take your friend with you who can speak arabic...But try to solve the problem as quick as you can..The same it happpend wihth one of my uncle, he sold his car with changing the ownership then after a long period he got the message of 30000 Qatari Riyals radar fines...So hurry up man....Just go and speak in English...Best of luck
