Thanks to QLers for answering my previous question. Today I got the police report by paying 20 riyals. So 100% the accident is not my fault. The other partys insurance is Doha insurance. how they deal thirdparty claims? Can i repair my car in local garages or only through the car dealer? please advise

1st thing first. bring the police report to the other party's insurance. go to claim dept for registration. then they will advice you to go to their authorized garage or to your car company service garage. it depends on your car's year model. if its less than 3 years old 80% you will go to your car company for repair. more than 3 years, 100% outside garage which they authorize to do repair for their insurance claim. good luck..

If it is not your fault better to go to your car's authorized service center and present accident report from police. No cost will be charged to you. The service center representative will guide you what to do. I think they will contact the insurance company who will shoulder all the cost of repair work.
