i am a happy K&N filter user, not Accord though. its the sound that is really pleasing. Using it for two years now, and cleaning it regularly with K&N recharger/cleaner. Acceleration is improved, also slight improvement with the gas(gas milage doesnt really matter though). but you have to reset your car,s ECU for full benefit.
A V6 if I remember correctly is a 3.5l engine. I think you're probably OK power wise, with that. Personally I wouldn't risk it. If it's a reasonably newish vehicle might be worth speaking to Honda if they have any views as it may invalidate your warranty.
No. Anything that passes oil into your air intake is going to bad for your sensors. But then again it could be Ok. Why do you need a K&N filter? do you have a 4 pot or v6?
