Just fitted a new set of headlamps, xenon bulbs etc, is there a specialist workshop that can do headlamp aiming and adjusting? Just to make sure I don't blind oncoming drivers.
Thanks, I have already lowered the beam manually. THe nearside beam was way off and causing serious glare. I also have projectors.
What I'm looking for is an outfit that has an optical beamsetter so that the beam is correctly aimed and provides the best use legally and responsibly.
Many thanks. I've already lowered the beam manually, the nearside one was way off. I just want to ensure that I can have it as high as legally and responsibly possible to ensure I do not blind other road users.
I dont think xenon headlamp beam can be focused. If you look carefully you'll notice that the beam is spread widely. One thing you can do is lower the beam by adjusting it from inside the headlamp assembly(theres a mechanism inside).
The OE xenon lights on most cars have a projector lens to focus the beam. Aftermarket xenons with projector lens are available online. Without projector lens, the blinding effect is definitely gonna be there.
