Simple funda...

If you pick up a full insurance; if eva u have an accident, (If its ur fault), with the full insurance coverage u can fix up ur car, but since the car is pretty old, u mite get only up to 40% of the actual bill paid or according to the insurance agency that u have picked from. Frankly, my advice wud b not to go for it, cos when eva a case is der where v bump into sum other cars and has to get our car fixed, the insurance company gives a deaf ear to our sayings. The charges can vary anything b/w 2800/- up 5500/- (If its a 4x4 wheel drive)

Now, if u r goin 2 pick 3rd party insurance (which i do recomment), u mite hav 2 pay for all the damages urself if eva involved in an accident but den again its very cheap. Like say abt 250/- Qar for a whole year.

I would suggest you go for full comprehesive insurance because it will avoid you from alot of headache if you got accident or someone hit you by accident and at the same time, its worry free.

TPL: usually charge from QR250 to QR400.

FULL: Car Value X 4.5% + Processsing Charge = QR

in your case:

QR23000 X 4.5% + assuming QR150 = QR1,185

Anyway, its still your choice.

Goodluck!

Buddy,

The cost of repairing the car is very high in Qatar. If you are well enough than don't bother about comprehensive.

Third party insurance will take care of your legal liablities in respect to the car accident. If you are liable. If the other party is at fault, then the car will be repaired by the other person's car insurance.

Omar Waheed.

Well third party is the best... My suggestion is not to go for full insurance ...

Cheers !!!
